England - North York Moors to Scarborough

Many different seabirds can be seen at Cowbar Cliffs, not far from Staithes. It is an important breeding ground for Herring Gulls, Kittiwakes, Fulmar Petrols,  Razorbills and Martins. The rocks in these cliffs, and all along the Yorkshire Coast, date back to the Jurassic period (150-200 million years ago) so if birds aren't your thing, maybe fossil hunting is.
